3 Mistakes I Made As a New Internet Marketer
And what I would do differently if I could start over.
When I discovered affiliate marketing in 2006 I was hooked.
I found success quick enough to know what was possible but went through a tremendous amount of growing pains until I got a solid handle on what it took to sustain a solid income online.
If I lost everything tomorrow and was forced to start over from scratch, here’s what I’d do in the first week to get back on top.
1) Start a Niche Twitter Account
Twitter is easily the most underrated social media platform out there in terms of how quickly you can find and grow an audience.
I neglected social media for almost 20 years and didn’t start a Twitter account until the end of 2020.
It was one of those things I assumed was for armchair politicians who just wanted to bitch and moan about the world.
Little did I know you can completely eradicate any and all forms of “news” from your feed with a few clicks of your mouse.
Filtering the content I consume keeps me free of distractions and focused on building quality relationships, a helpful network of peers, and quality content for my followers.
