Confessions of a former dating coach
For most of my 20’s and the first two years of my 30’s, I was a dating coach.
The seduction community was at the height of its popularity due to a book called “The Game” and business was good.
Guys would fork over a few thousand dollars with the promise of me attending a club with them and teaching them how to approach women…
Or they would want me to sit with them and do the online thing if they found that approach a better fit for their busy life.
Most of the guys I worked with were super-shy and extremely introverted.
The idea of approaching an attractive woman and starting a conversation was such an anxiety-inducing experience, they would physically lock up and shut down emotionally.
So… they’d reach out to me and I’d help as best I could.
Over the course of nearly ten years working with men — and sometimes women — I learned a lot about human nature.
I also discovered a few interesting patterns in how people who hire dating coaches think and feel about the opposite sex, especially men.
