I know I’ve been quiet for the last 2 months.

I’m sorry — but also not sorry.

On the spur of the moment, I decided to take the summer off from building my business and spend it mostly off the grid at the cottage with my wife and kids.

I say mostly because, despite digital detoxing for 98% of the time, I couldn’t resist connecting to free WiFi when it was available in the town nearby.

Those moments usually consisted of checking my email to answer any important messages, responding to text messages from friends, and popping on 𝕏’s trending tab to make sure the world wasn’t ending.

Despite what some people think, it wasn’t and still isn’t.

During the summer I set a few personal goals around health and fitness and a few for my newsletter biz too.

Here’s why you should do the same:

1) Clarity

If you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll never know when you get there. Set modest goals you can build upon.
