Never use adverbs.

Keep sentences pithy.

Make terse statements.

And don’t be afraid to start paragraphs with a conjunction.

Nobody reads sesquipedalian prose.

Sentence fragments are okay.

But most important:

Never write above a sixth-grade reading level.

During the past 15 years, I have made a small fortune writing emails for 6 and 7 figure businesses.

I’ve broken every grammar rule I can think of.

My high school English teacher would slap me if she read a fraction of what I’ve written over the years.

When you’re a copywriter…

Fancy words and formal writing will kill the sale.

And if you’re a writer on medium…

It will kill your “reads”

Communicate your ideas in a way that’s clear and focused.

Pick one idea and explain it from beginning to end, with no step skipped.

And don’t worry about grammar.

Punctuation has never made anyone rich.
