How to Write a Thread on Bluesky

It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.

My friend Jamie Northrup recently started a challenge over on Bluesky.

Because I’ve grown increasingly tired of 𝕏, I decided to give it a shot.

Unfortunatly, I noticed a big problem straight away:

Bluesky doesn’t give you the ability to write threads.

Fortunately, I found a solution.

First, click SETTINGS.

Scroll to APP PASSWORDS.

And click ADD APP PASSWORD

Next, go to https://bluethread.pythonanywhere.com/ and log into the app with the password you just created.

From there you can copy and paste a piece of content into the editor (or write from scratch) and the rest is pretty straightforward.
