You may be wondering why I would intentionally send a poorly executed email to my subscribers.

And I’m going to tell you.

But the first thing you should know is this:

I didn’t write the email.

Here’s the story…

It all Started With a Twitter DM

A short while ago I received the following DM from a fledgling young freelancer on Twitter.

I am keeping his identity secret out of respect.

The internet can be an unforgiving place.

And I see no good reason to hinder this young man’s evolving career as a freelance copywriter.

I may even take him on as a protegé if he’s down for it.

His offer was straightforward and simple:

He would write a “no strings attached” email I could send to my subscribers.
