If you follow any number of creators on social media, you’re bound to encounter some variation of the following:

Now – I have nothing against this particular individual.

I don’t know him.

He’s doing his own thing and I sincerely hope he’s happy doing it.

But for some creators, this advice is a steaming pile of hot garbage.

Let me explain…

Freelance Work is Brutal

The advice of doing 1–1 work before building a digital product sounds good on the surface. The advice goes something like this:

  • Offer a high ticket service.
  • Get proof of results and customer testimonials.
  • Develop your results-getting system into a digital course.
  • Sell your productized system.

Simple right?
