This month’s challenge inside the Newsletter Alchemy Skool Community is to write and publish a minimum 50-page guide on Amazon KDP.

I haven’t done this yet, but the great thing about these challenges is they hold me and the other members inside accountable to our goals.

My outline is complete and the first few chapters are done and dusted so it’s just a matter of staying on track.

One of the features I enjoy most about Atticus is the goal tracker. It keeps me motivated and focused on hitting daily writing targets.

Writing a short book isn’t too daunting as I’ve created lead magnets and special reports that have surpassed 50 pages in the past.

But I’d be lying if I said self-publishing on Amazon didn’t give me a few nervous jitters.

Why am I doing this?

A few reasons:

  1. Being a published author gives you credibility and authority in the minds of readers. It’s even right there in the word: author – ity.
  2. Amazon is the largest online marketplace in the world and could be a great source of newsletter subscribers.
