Single Mothers Make Terrible Fathers

Why every child should have a strong man in the home

25% of children live in fatherless homes.

That’s 1 in 4 for those of you who really suck at math.

To put it into greater perspective.

An estimated 19.5 million children lack the physical presence and guidance of a strong masculine role model in the house.

And that’s just in the USA.

Not a big deal if you’re okay with the fact that fatherless children are more likely to:

  • Become a high-school dropout.
  • Suffer from anxiety and depression.
  • Abuse drugs and alcohol.
  • End up in prison.
  • Live in poverty.
  • Suffer from obesity.

For the record:

Nobody should be okay with any of these facts.

And while I could keep going — worst of all:

Fatherless boys are more likely to repeat the cycle and abandon their own children, causing this societal endemic to get increasingly worse.

Having grown up without a father I can attest that the situation is less than ideal.
