Stay Focused

It’s the only way to get shit done.

Most of my life I have been guilty of changing my mind too quickly.

I can’t count how many unfinished projects I have on my hard drive.

It’s embarrassing.

At the beginning of 2021 I made a promise to myself that I would grow a Twitter account to 10K followers and monetize it.

So far, I have never missed a day on the platform. The result of that consistency has been paying off.

I’m approaching 1000 followers and have made a few thousand dollars with affiliate marketing in the process.

But yesterday…

Medium payed me a full 5 cents and reminded me why I signed up to this platform in the first place.

Blogging on Medium has been one of those “start and stop” projects for me.

Staring at a blank page and a blinking cursor isn’t something that normally overwhelms me, but for some reason I question myself here.

“What should I write about?”

“Will anyone read it?”

And then the answer hit me.

Stop Caring and Just Write

I’m gonna treat Medium like Twitter.

Instead of wondering what to write about, or if anyone will read it…

I’m going to try my best to just write.

Not about anything in particular, just whatever comes to my mind.
