I was upstairs in the VIP lounge, behind the bar, pouring myself an ice-cold Coke Zero.
The VIP lounge is where the dancers stretch and practice their moves on the weekdays.
It’s very rare for customers to drop the extra cash for a more exclusive experience if it’s not a Friday or Saturday night.
“Do you like naked girls stretching in front of you?” Colleen muttered as she lay on her back attempting what I can only describe as “air splits”
I raised my glass and took a sip.
“You’re the first naked girl I’ve ever seen. It’s uncomfortable. My body feels funny”
Chuckles from the dressing room behind me.
Even though Colleen wasn’t the most attractive dancer who worked at the club, she was easily the biggest earner.
It was because she did something the other girls never did.
Or at least she did it better.
And the result was bigger tips, repeat customers, and high-rollers eager to spend time with her in the VIP lounge.
