Why You Shouldn’t Pick a Niche as a Creator…

… and what to do instead.

Occasionally, I get an itch.

It’s an itch to abandon whatever I’m currently working on and start another project in a different niche.

Most creators feel this way at some point or another.

And while there isn't anything, in particular, causing this itch, I can’t deny scratching it would feel damn good.

For example:

Last night I went to Scotiabank Arena to watch the Leafs VS Panthers.

Taken by the Author

It was GAME ONE of ROUND TWO in the 2023 NHL Playoffs.

And it’s kind of a big deal.

It’s been 19 years since The Leafs made it out of the first round.

The city is buzzing.

It’s exciting stuff.

And it’s definitely something I could write about.

I could write about a lot of things.

My love of movies.

My latest obsession with reading all 28 of the Jack Reacher novels.
