Yes - results come quicker and you can validate your ideas faster too. It isn't so much that I'm against traditional blogging via a WordPress blog. It's more that I personally find it cumbersome and unnecessary.

If i ever did decide I wanted to start a WP blog, I'd probably spend 6-12 months testing and building an audience on Medium first before migrating them over.

The atomic newsletter model satisfies my inner slacker in that regard.
