I was reminded of this today when I read a thread from someone I’ve been following on Twitter.
This individual was building a content business and pivoted to working 1 on 1 with clients.
I remember thinking:
“This won’t end well…”
Over the next few years, I watched this individual post screenshots of income earnings, client testimonials, and analytical proof to demonstrate his competence.
Basic marketing stuff.
And it worked.
Clients flocked to him.
Awesome, right?
Well…
He just quit freelancing.
